Do you deliver skips to my area?
We provide skip delivery and collection throughout Mid Wales and the Shropshire borders, including Newtown, Welshpool, Montgomery, Llanidloes and surrounding towns and villages.
We can also travel beyond our usual delivery area depending on the skip size and location. Contact us with your postcode and we’ll confirm availability and provide an accurate quotation.
What size skip do I need?
The right skip depends on the type and volume of waste, available access and the size of your project.
Our skips range from 2-yard mini skips for smaller DIY jobs and clear-outs through to 20–40 yard Roll-On Roll-Off containers for larger commercial and industrial projects. If you’re unsure, tell us what you’re clearing and we’ll recommend a suitable size.
How long can I keep the skip?
Standard skip hire includes up to 14 days. Longer hire periods can usually be arranged if required, subject to additional rental charges.

Do I need a skip permit?
A permit is required if the skip needs to be placed on a public highway or council-owned land. If required, we can arrange the permit on your behalf, with the relevant council fees applying.
A permit is not normally required when the skip is positioned entirely on private property, such as a driveway.
Where can my skip be placed?
Skips can usually be placed on private property such as a driveway, yard or suitable area of land, provided there is safe access for our delivery vehicle.
If the skip needs to be positioned on a public highway or council-owned land, a skip permit will normally be required.
How full can I load the skip?
Waste must be kept level with the top edge of the skip. Overfilled skips cannot be transported safely or legally and may not be collected until the excess material has been removed.
What can I put in a skip?
Most general household, garden, renovation and construction waste can be accepted, including materials such as wood, metal, cardboard, paper, plastics, brick, concrete and green waste.
Different rules may apply to certain materials, so please contact us if you’re unsure before loading your skip.
What can’t go in a skip?
Items such as asbestos, fridges, freezers, gas bottles, liquid chemicals, paints, lithium batteries and hazardous electrical items must not be placed in our general skips.
If you’re unsure about a particular item, please contact us before putting it in the skip.
Can I dispose of plasterboard?
Yes, plasterboard can be accepted, but it must be kept separate from general mixed waste.
Please contact us before loading plasterboard, as it is handled and priced differently.
Do you provide both domestic and commercial skip hire?
Yes. We provide skip hire for homeowners, landlords, tradespeople, builders, businesses and organisations across Mid Wales and the Shropshire borders.
Our range includes smaller domestic skips, builder’s skips, enclosed skips and larger Roll-On Roll-Off containers for higher-volume commercial waste.
